I'm so excited about the next couple of weeks. I get so see some amazing stuff from our DT. Kimber will be posting everything, but I've been sneaking into the posts to see what kinds of fun projects are going up. Love it!
I'm to start the DT kick-off. Unfortunately, I don't have too much to tell you other than I'm the owner of Jillibean Soup and I happen to enjoy scrapbooking. You can read more about me here.
April 2008, 8X8 Layout by Jill Yegerlehner
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup Cold Raspberry collection (Fresh Cherries)
Jillibean Soup Journaling Sprouts (Red, Green, Brown on white)
Jillibean Soup Bean Seeds (Harvest Medium, Spring Fling small)
Jillibean Soup Bean Stalks (5 polkas, Red/Black)
Worldwin Cardstock
Making Memories Brads
Thread
Zots
The Fresh Cherries paper was trimmed to an 8X8 size and then the corners were rounded with Creative Memories corner rounder. Cardstock was cut to fit photo size - leaving a large boarder. Several colors/styles of Journaling Sprouts were used to make flowers on the layout. Each sprout is layered and the top sprout has been attached with a zot to make it 3-D. The felt flowers were added on top of the sprouts. The ribbon and sewing were done last. BTW...I'm not comfortable sewing on my pages yet but I was excited at how straight my line was! You're probably asking...where did you sew...on the left hand side of the vertical ribbons. :-)
Up Tomorrow -- Design Team Member Ingrid Danvers...you have to stop back for her goodies!
Have a great day!

Love it Jill!
Really love all the circles and all the sprouts...you can never have too many sprouts!
The white just makes everything so fresh & clean.
It also doesn't hurt that Leah is so, so, cute!
