Quick and Easy Pinwheel Flowers by Becky Williams
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup
Patterned Paper: Old World Cabbage Stew/Caraway Seeds, Brown Rice
Minestrone/Thin Zuchini
Soup Staples/White Stock, Black Macaroni,Yellow Sugar, Pink Sugar, Red Sugar, Chicken Noodle/Chopped Lemon Grass
Coordinating Cardstock Stickers: Old World Cabbage Stew, New England Chowder
Corrugated Alphas: white
Core Impressions Cardstock by Core'dinations
Other: corner rounder punch, staples, sanding block, twine, ink, small hole punch, brads, adhesive, paper trimmer, ruler.
1. Cut square of patterned paper- any size depending on the size you'd like your pinwheel to be. For my layout I have: yellow= 4 inch square, pink=2 1/2 inch square, red= 3 inch square.
2. Fold paper diagonally both ways or draw a line diagonally across the paper each way. Cut on lines until about 1/4 inch from center.
3. Put a dot on one corner of each side as shown, punch hole in this spot and poke a hole in center of pinwheel using a paper piercer or pin.
4. Using a brad take all points of pinwheel to the center and fasten off brad.
5. Top with buttons, canvas flowers, etc. and use to embellish a card or scrapbook page.
and again here's the beautiful set of pinwheels we posted the other day created by Becky.
Have a great one!
