The Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive was perfect to hold the ribbon and crafting beads in place. All you need to do is apply a small amount to the desired area and hold in place. Definitely one of my favorite adhesive!
Good Tuesday! Our design team member Kim Arnold pulled together a Tutorial on using Twine on your layouts. Sometimes we don't always think of using ribbon or twine on a layout because we are unsure of how to adhere it to our projects. Kim's here to show you how easy it is.

1.Complete the layout and work out where you want the twine to be. 2.Using an anywhere hole punch, punch holes where you want the string to wrap around and where you want the bow to be. If you are wanting to wrap the twine around the whole layout, you only need to punch a hole where the bow will be.
3.Bring a tail of the twine through the hole long enough to tie the bow with.
4.Cut a generous length of twine (estimate how much you are going to need). Using the long piece of twine (which will be at the back of the layout), come up through the right hand hole, across the layout and down the left hand hole. Repeat.
5.Bring the end of the twine back up through the hole where the bow will be.
6.Make sure that the two pieces of twine are on either side of the wrapped twine – this is important, as it is this step that holds the twine in place once the bow is tied.
7.Option 1: tie a knot and then a bow over the wrapped twine holding it in place.
8.Option 2: thread the ends of the twine through a button and then tie a bow – it is a nice extra touch.
9.Wrap the twine ends around the wrapped twine to finish or let hang. I find that if the bow is at the bottom of the layout, the wrapped technique works best.
10.Finish embellishing layout and write journaling.

Who says you can't get a lot of pictures on your page and still have white space? in this layout I used 11 pictures, I just resized them to be 2"- 2.5" tall and left a white border when trimming. by overlapping the photos in non critical space it allows for a nice collage on the page.
