Well, hello there! Good day today? It's Friday so YES, it's a good day! We only have a few more summery weekends left this year so hopefully you've got some plans to enjoy them! Before you know it fall will be here and so will those HOLIDAYS! By the way, fall is my absolute favorite! But I'm guessing you figured that out already with my color combos and all the red/brown/orange/green. ;)
Speaking of fall, we've got a full schedule around here! Kimber added a bunch of dates to our "Upcoming Events" section over there on the left. For our local gals, we've got card classes in Dayton and Columbus. I will be teaching a card class at Crop for A Cause - the Power of Purple in Celina, Ohio on September 18th. The crop benefits The Family Crisis Network and Lisa Bearnson will be there as well! Here's 3 of the 6 cards you can make...
If you can't catch that one, Kimber has a card class (different cards) coming up in Dayton on Sept 25th at Simply Scrapbooks.
Then, Kimber and I are headed to Scrap-A-Fairytale in the Netherlands! Paper & Pictures is putting on this grand event! I'm excited to visit Europe for the first time but also to meet design team member Ingrid Danvers! I will be teaching a mini-album class (designed by in-house DT member Lori Slawinski) and a boxed card kit using Christmas Chesnut Soup. Here's a couple of the cards...
Thank you Juliana for teaching us how to make those beautiful flowers!
Kimber will be teaching a card class using Core'dinations (using several techniques with their fun cardstock) and a little bit of Jillibean.
Soon after we return, Kimber is headed to ScrapFest in Canada and will be teaching, yet, another card class. Design team member Sarah Hodgkinson will be teaching as well! Maybe one day, they'll ask me to come too! ;)
Towards the end of October (23rd), I will offering make n' takes at Cincinnati's Komen Crop for A Cure. Cards will be offered for $2 and all of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen fund. I'm excited to spend some time down there with the Cincy girls!
Local gals can make some cards with me on October 25th at Pizazz It! Scrapbooks in Pickerington. Here's one of the 6 cards you can make...
Last but certainly not least is our next Card Bar!!!! If you missed the last one, we had a GREAT time and raised $700 for Columbus Children's Hospital. This time we'll be collecting for Toys for Tots. More on that later!
Have a great weekend everyone! Don't forget to work on your Millionth Sprout Projects!
