It's Friday, it's October 1st and I'm in the Netherlands!!!! I'm guessing I'm probably tired (I'm typing this before we go). Red-eye flight and I've lost 7 hours on the way over there! Yikes!

I love that we finally get some relief from the hot weather here, picking out my son's costume, the excitement of him waiting for Halloween, going to the pumpkin patch, us all three carving pumpkins & of course pumpkin pie. Yum!

Every October we spend a weekend with friends in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We go to a play at the Shaw Festival, and tour our favorite wineries. Dinner with friends who live there and two nights in a B&B add to the pleasure.

October is my favorite month ! I was married in October, as I love the cooler weather, bright blue skies and changing colors of leaves on the trees.

I love all of the fall products that come out in October, leaves, Trees, pumpkins, Halloween papers, love it all!! Outside of scrapbooking I love the smell of burning leaves and pumpkin bars baking in the oven!

Ohhh...October is such a fun month. The weather is usually nice enough to go out. I also love the fall colors, smells, and activities - halloween, pumpkin patches and fall hay rides - prefect opportunity for pictures.

October is great because the weather changes, my hubby gets a few days of vacation, and we get to see our daughter dressed up for Trick-or-Treating.

For me, October signifies the beginning of the holiday season... Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and Christmas!!! Love this time of year! Love this Jillibean collection!!

I love that it is my daughter's bday month. I love the colors of fall. I love football season and sometimes baseball playoffs season. Not this year though, bummer.

fun kit and great layouts!! I like halloween most about Oct. It's fun to dress up and eat candy :) The leaves changing colors is nice though too.

My favourite thing about October is the changing leaves. Right around Canadian Thanksgiving (a week from now) is usually the peak of leaf colours here in New Brunwick, Canada.

My favorite fall activity is going to the apple orchards close by and then coming home and making fresh apple butter, apple crisp, apple fritters and apple pies. YUM! I would SO LOVE this kit to get creative with - thanks so much for the generous giveaway.
