Ahhh Wednesday! We're half way there folks! Almost the weekend and almost to a much needed spring break. I have 2 kids that are ready to sleep in every day! (So is mom!) 

I went and browsed through our Facebook Photo Album. Seriously, we have some VERY talented friends. Keep them coming! Keep posting your Jillibean projects there for all of us to enjoy. Free For all Friday...

Sorry all, quick post today.  Too much going on this week!

For the local gals, if you get a minute, stop by the Columbus Memories Expo...I will be at the Red Letter Journal booth doing make n' takes from 2-4pm.  They have LOTS of Jillibean available at the booth!

For all our Design Team applicants, I will make the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT next Friday!!!!  That means we'll be contacting everyone this week.  It's not been easy to pick a team and I'm so grateful to everyone that applied.  I know many of you purchased new product, spent hours debating whether to use red or the white letters and re-typed your application 10 times!  Believe me, I understand how much energy goes into applying and I'm very appreciative of everyone's time and talents.  I wish I could have all of you! 

One last thing, I wanted to give you a peek at a mini album I'm working on for my weekend event at The Scrapbook Store in Wisconsin.  It's a paper bag mini album and I'll share lots of pics after the event!

Soup Spotting 3.23.11

Good Wednesday! It's the middle of the week and the best way to get over that hump is to do a little Soup Spotting. I hope you like the projects I've selected this week. 

First up is the SWEETEST layout. Seriously... you are going to say awww.... when you look at it! I love how Sarah mixed SO Many different lines on this one layout.

Next is this fun card by Courtney that uses the new Spotted Owl Soup papers. I love how she embossed the pattern paper. It gives it a LOT of texture. I never think of embossing anything but cardstock. Making a mental note to do this in the future.

Finally, Sheena emailed me this layout yesterday. She used Baker's Twine and Journaling Sprouts to created fun embellishments. I believe one of our design team members recently did this as well. Great minds... ;)

#155 I want an this issue so bad! I love Becky Fleck's sketches. I'm sure there is fabulous inspiration inside. I love to make cards and am finding dry embossing to be a fun technique to play around with these days.

#32 I would love to win that book. I use the inspiration from a sketch to turn the card into my own. I love to do different shapes -- I just did a lamp and it is so fun to embellish.

It's Friday, whatcha say about a GIVEAWAY?

Yay! Friday is here!  Do you have big plans for the weekend?  Our spring break is next week so many of my friends are headed out of town for the week!  I'm kind of jealous - I don't have vacation plans until July!
