It's Friday and we're heading into a fall weekend here in Ohio! The temperatures are going to be in the 50's and the trees have started turning colors already. We may check out an apple orchard on Saturday after soccer. I see some fall pics coming!
Anyone know what tomorrow is? It's World Card Making Day!
What a great day to make a card for someone! Send one for no reason at all - that's the best! I love to make cards - I don't have a ton of time to scrapbook, so cards are my thing. I went cropping last week at A Crop for All Seasons in Norwalk, OH (a great B&B for scrapbooking). I'm actually proud of some of the projects I worked on and I'm excited to show them to you in the next couple of weeks. Since tomorrow is World Cardmaking Day, I'll share a couple of cards here...

Yes, they're Christmas cards - I'm teaching a couple classes in November so I worked on them at the crop. Here's a couple from CHA that never made it to the blog (you see, I don't have the time or energy to do the product lists for my projects so they never make it up on the blog unless it's my day to post :)).

If you have some cards to share, link us up! Speaking of cards to share - I happen to know that Papercrafts Moxie Fab Blog is giving away some Jillibean (and other products) in honor of World Making Card day. Head on over and take a look! I love PaperCrafts - such great inspiration for cardmakers!
Speaking of PaperCrafts, we have Windy Robinson as a guest designer for the October Card Kitchen kit! Woo Hoo! She is one of the PaperCraft "go-to" gals and we are absolutely thrilled to have her!!!! If you haven't been over to the Card Kitchen blog, please check out her work - her cards are adorable!
If you haven't checked out the sneaks for this month's kit - they're over there too! We had such a great response for the first kit - thank you to our first subscribers!!!! Here's one of Kimber's cards for the October kit...

And guess what? The kit went live this morning and I think we should GIVE ONE AWAY here! You know - in honor of World Cardmaking Day!!!!
We would love to hear where you get your inspiration from! Are you a cardmaker? Do you have favorite blogs/sites or forums you visit for regular inspiration? Do you read magazines for inspiration? Do you use sketch books for your inspiration? We'd love to hear! Leave a comment below (you know - where it says "comments" - click on it and type in your stuff). I'll have Jen pick a winner of the Card Kit Monday morning!
Good Luck and have a GREAT weekend!
