Free For All Friday...

Friday, Friday, Friday... guess I need to post something today!  I do have a few things to tell you but I'm tired!  We are busy around here.  Kimber is getting ready for the next Card Kitchen kit - which I LOVE!  Laina is working on new designs and has the cutest chicken coops ever to share!  The team is working on the next Designer Challenge and product swaps with Petaloo, Spellbinders and Scor-Pal.  The girls in the office and I are working on getting organized for the Great Lakes Mini Meet in Toledo (which I will be teaching at).  Ahhhh, so much to do and so little time in a day!

So, is that excuse enough to be late in picking the sketch winner and picking our new hybrid gal?  Grrr, I'm sorry I just can't keep up with some things!

If you're headed to Simply Scrapbooks tomorrow for either Kimber's or my class, we're excited to have you!  One thing we're making in the gift idea class is this simple, simple set of clothespin magnets...

So simple but makes for a cute gift.  I've seen more of these on Pinterest recently and people also painted the clips before adding the paper (again, cute)!

Now, should we pick a sketch winner?  You guys did a GREAT job with Julie's sketch!  I had a really hard time picking. I hope you'll agree with me that Marielle LaForge-LeBlanc did the sketch well!  Congratulations Marielle!  The pic is adorable too!  Marielle wins $50 bucks to spend in the Jillibean Soup Consumer Store!!!!

Jen posted the November sketch yesterday - let's see how many projects we can get!  $50 gift certificate is up for grabs!

Tuesday Special Project Idea and a Great Giveaway!

Hi Ladies (and a gent or two)!  Jill here.  Since the holidays are coming fast and furious, I hope to share more gift ideas, card ideas and project ideas with you in the next 6 weeks.  Something I've been noticing on Pinterest is that everyone is pinning December Daily Albums.  These have become sooo popular and correct me if I'm wrong, I think it all started with Ali Edwards.  Anyhow, I have an Advent Calendar I want to share with you.  With this Calendar, I plan on adding things to it to make it my December Daily.  It's not your typical December Daily but I think it will work out great for keeping notes, adding a few photos and holding on to a trinket or two.  Let me know what you think...

I used Canvas Corp 3x3 envelopes for the majority of the album.  I added our new Kraft Coin envelopes and Bite Size Bits in between.  I will put notes, candy and prayer verses in the envelopes for the Advent portion.  Then when each day is done, I'll fill the envelope with notes from the day or a special treasure.

It's Friday... News and a Designer Challenge!

It's just been a crazy week for me. I've got 3 sick kids, a sick husband, I'm dealing with something funky too and lots of work to do!  Laina and I have started working on the new lines and I think you'll like what you see!  I see some fun colors too!
