Greetings from the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Chantilly, Virginia!!!! If you're in the area and you don't have plans to stop by - you should! Kimber McGray is teaching a couple fantastic card classes - I think they still have some seats! We're doing make n' takes at the booth - good stuff! Btw...did I tell you it was a 100 degrees yesterday while we were setting up? Yikes!
I have a couple of things to share today and if you keep reading down you might see a GIVEAWAY!
First, there's still time to get in on this month's sketch contest. Here's Nicole's fabulous layout:
And here's Nicole's fabulous sketch:
Multiple photos, a cute banner, some simple journaling and viola! Once you finish your project you can either send a photo to jen@jillibean-soup.com or post it on our Facebook Fan page (hit that button over there on the left). Thank you to everyone that's already participated!
Second up, our friends at Scrapbook & Cards Today in Canada are celebrating their Summer Issue release TODAY!
Starting Monday they will have 12 days of GIVEAWAYS (one day will be Jillibean Soup)!!! Make sure to head on over! If you've never been to their blog, you've got to check it out...they have fabulous inspiration from amazing designers! Some you may know from the Bean Talk blog :)
Next up - I want to give you a heads up on an upcoming SALE in the consumer store. You won't want to miss out on some great deals! Check back next week!
Finally, I think I mentioned a GIVEAWAY!!!!! Does everyone LOVE the new alpha font from the last release?
If so, we've got 5 NEW Colors!!! I can't share the NEW colors just yet, but I can offer them up as a GIVEAWAY!!! 5 NEW Alphabeans that no one else has even seen yet!!!! You in? If so, leave a comment below... are you an alpha hoarder like me? What do you do with your "leftover" alphas?
Good Luck! We'll pick a winner next week! Oh, and I'll have a SNEAK to share!
Have a great weekend everyone!

I love those alphas! I have been trying to use some of my leftovers up by changing up my titles and using different fonts for the same title. I love the look! Thank you for the chance to win!

Leftover alphas? I use them as pattern, or mix and match. No leftovers here, when I'm done! :D

Aren't we all "hoarders" of some kind--I never seem to have just the right letters for my project. Any help would be nice--especially a freebie. Thanks for the chance to win.

I love alpha stickers too. I once used mt leftover stickers as my card background.

I use my left over letters all the time for card and layouts, I either mix the colors or paint them black with a sharpie to make them match. love the new size, awesome for long titles.

I hoard-and try to use them creatively-cutting, turning, etc in place of the letters I have used up.

Did someone say alpha hoarder? Okay, maybe I am.
I let the kiddos play with the left over alphas. I have a 2nd grader and kindergartner, so a learning to reader and learning to speller. They love it!
