It's Day 2 of our "4 Days of Giveaways" as we celebrate our 4th year of Inspiration here at Jillibean Soup.
Did you know that the Jillibean Soup name was not the original name of the company? It actually started as "Jill's Attic". About 3 months after playing with the concept (and officially getting ready to start the business), we found something online that had the name "Jill's Attic" and had that little Trademark TM on it. With that, I had to go back to the drawing board with the name. I sat down one Saturday and wrote down a list of names - about 20 of them. I picked 5 or 6 and e-mailed the names to my friends asking them which name they liked best.... all of them came back with "Jillibean Soup". And so Jillibean Soup was born! It's funny because the whole marketing with soup names and bean parts never even crossed my mind until I went to start naming products. Amazing how somethings just work out for the better ;)
