My favorite birthday memory is a repetitive memory, my mom all the years in my birthday prepared delicious chocolates, sweet treats and my very special cake : Brucelina (my favorite) it's a cake with thin layers of cake and cream and something like fodge. My memory is looking at my mom doing such amazing things all the years for me. :) She's amazing.

I remember one game I always played with my friends was having a race to see who could sit on and pop a number of balloons the fastest!

Would love to win and I've already downloaded all your shapes! My favorite birthday memory is when about forty ladies from my exercise class planned a surprise catered birthday lunch for me at one of their homes. I'm a hard person to surprise and I was totally surprised and totally blown away by their generosity. It was a very teary afternoon! Happy tears, of course!

Oops! Forgot to leave a comment about favorite birthday memory. My 16th, when my (now an Angel) sister took me down to a jewelry store a few weeks before my birthday and asked me for advice/my opinion on what rings I liked as she was "saving up to buy one" for herself. Finding out, weeks later that the ring was really a very special surprise birthday gift for me.

I think my favorite birthday will be the one coming up this November because now I have THREE grandchildren to celebrate with!! Twin 25 month old granddaugthers and an eight month old grandson. My husband, daughter and her family to help me celebrate almost 14 years in remission from Hodgkin's Cancer!! And then,if all of this isn't exciting enough, I get to scrapbook my birthday cake memories holding all 3 babies! Life is soooo good!!!

My favourite birthday memory? does it have to be mine because I love my oldest daughter's 6th birthday, she had gotten a bathing suit from one of her friends and right there in front of everyone she decided to put it on. The other girls were more embarrassed than her! I thought it was cute. Luckily at 17 she doesn't still do that!

Fifteen and soon to be 16. My birthday gift from my parents was a trip from Indiana to California to visit family. I spent a month travelling through California visiting family and seeing the sights. And yes...I made the trip by myself. This was such a memorable experience 50 years ago.

My favorite birthday memory would be my 21st. The last aquired freedom comes at that age & I felt like a true adult (now I wish I'd been more of a kid!).

My favorite birthday memory is sharing a birthday with my Grandma Ruth. We always had our family party together and I remember feeling special because we were "twins". What I wouldn't give to be able to share one more birthday with her!

My favorite memory for my own birthday was when my mom made a pineapple upside down cake. But one of my favorite overall birthday memories was my FIL's 60th birthday party when my SIL hired a gorilla. Watching my FIL dance with the gorilla was a blast.

Awesome! I love Silhouette! My favorite birthday memory was the one where I just got to have the day all to myself. I was a mom of 2 small children at the time. My mom took the boys. My husband made dinner for just the two of us and I spent the day doing whatever I wanted---which included going to the gym and spending the afternoon at a museum exhibit I had wanted to see. It was really nice!

My 18th birthday was the same day as Prom. My date and friends made it even more special for me. The guys hired a magician to put on a private show for us. It was really cool! It's still one of my favorite dates!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Last year when my friends surprised me at a crop with my table decked out with decorations, a special cupcake and a case of Dr. Pepper. I know this is a bit of a downer, but my birthdays aren't my favorite "holiday". I think I put too high of expectations on them or something (or I'm surrounded by family who thinks a facebook greeting is enough) because I can't remember a birthday where I didn't cry at some point during the day. I guess the song "It's my Party and I'll Cry If I Want To" fits me perfectly. ;)

My favorite Birthday memory is my Daughter's Birthday last year. We took her to build a bear and she fell in love with the orange hello Kitty...we tried to talk her into something less Halloween themed but she wasn't having any of it. We asked her if she wanted to get an outfit for her Hello Kitty and she turned to us and said..."no, that's alright, I just need my Hello Kitty"
It totally touched my heart, and brings happy tears to my eyes even now. (We talked her into slippers and a robe for her Hello Kitty...I mean she couldn't run around nakie!) LOL

My summer birthday was always hard while in Elem school as my friends were constantly never in town to come! So my parents made it a pool party and we had tonnes of fun playing musical chairs with balloons to pop on, BBQ and fancy home made cakes. we loved hopping in and out of the pool and being carefree.
As an adult now, many friends are busy with their families and summer holidays. However, it's custom that I pick an event or show and my great friends want to book the night off to be out. Of course we are all approaching 40, so we have done cover bands, concerts, movies as just saw The Price is Right! hearing that so many count on my birthday to be celebratory - its me that counts on the friendships,
Maybe it's time for a pool party, throwback!

My favorite Bday memory was actually fairly recent - my 40th Bday! My hubby surprised me - which he rarely ever does bc he usually waits til the day before or DAY OF to get a gift...he gave me a weekend getaway just for us, even planning childcare w/ my mom and sis, even moving work stuff around, just so we could go away together! Everyone was in on it and I was SO surpised. BEST Birthday gift ever!

My favorite birthday memory wasn't my birthday, but my son's first birthday. It felt so special holding the cake, having everyone sing for him, and helping him blow out the candle.
