Well lookie there - Friday just passed by really quickly!  It's now Saturday and I didn't get my post finished!  So here's "Free for All Saturday"!  

A couple things today...

Next up, I have something to share that I've been working on - organizing my office/scraproom!  Does your scrapbook room ever look like this?

Sorry, that's a little blurry, but you get the idea!

Well, all that stuff was sitting to the left and the right of my desk in my home office. I just keep "collecting" stuff.  When I'm done teaching classes, unfortunately that "stuff" never gets put away and it piles up on my floor.  Same with scrappy stuff.

This is the right wall.  You didn't get to see the table that was in there and EVERYTHING that was piled on top of it!!!  Some of it may have been proprietary ;)

On a whim, I decided before I get everything organized, how about if we paint?  You know - one of those last minute decisions that as your painting you're thinking why did I decide to do this now?   Well, I've always wanted to paint the office a chocolate color so we did!

Here's the painted walls and some of the furniture going back in.  The table/desk if from IKEA (was in another room) and the wall organization system is just from our local Home Depot. 

More stuff going in... last picture of the day.  I'll take some final pics this weekend and show them to you.  Same as you - I used baskets, jars, vintage wood boxes, more baskets, bins and the galvanized 3 tiered piece (I think it's from Pottery Barn).  If you have a HomeGoods anywhere near you, they always have an assortment of baskets at reasonable prices.

Here's the other wall - starting to come together.  I've had that desk forever.  The shelves on the sides of the desk are from the Container Store (several years old).  There's paper organizers at the bottom of the shelves - love these - they too are from the Container Store.

Now, to get all this stuff back in that room!  Working on that today!  Wish me luck :)

Your craft room looks great with all the organization. So much easier to be creative when thinks are organized. I just built a new home with a craft room. I had the builders put all shelves in the double closet so that I would be able to organize all my craft supplies. I still haven't finished unpacking the room yet, but I'm sure it will be great to start out with it all organized. Hopefully I will be able to keep it that way. :)
