The Christmas season will be here before we know it! This mix the media home décor piece was created with wood snowflakes and wood word from Joann’s. Our Rustic white center frame became black with a quick covering of spray paint. Then the wood word was painted in the peppermint style by using washi tape to mask off the stripes for the white and then the red paint. Last the snowflakes were painted the turquoise blue. Each painted piece was then added to the black background, the word was even popped up with 3D foam dots first. The result is a bright and bold Christmas statement worthy of any wall.

Here is a rustic Christmas mix the media home décor project that requires only our rustic white center frame, black chalkboard spray paint and paints in greens and white. The inner panel was spray painted in black chalkboard paint first, then the wreath was painted onto the base, using just a kitchen bowl as a circle template. Last the sentiment was added using a white chalkboard marker. Your handwriting not perfect? No problem- if you mess up just use a baby wipe to erase the chalkboard marker and try again. This frame can add a lovely farmhouse touch to your holiday season.
