Good morning and happy Friday! Spring is coming in the form of rain. Hopefully, we'll see the grass turn to green and the tulips bloom! Today, we'll be introducing one new member to our 2014 Jillibean Soup Design Team and two returning members, who you should be familiar with:)
Please meet and welcome Amy Coose! Amy lives in Chantilly, VA with 3 kiddos. She is a total homebody, and loves it when everyone is home. Scrapbooking is really the only hobby she has time for, unless you count coffee drinking as a hobby. Her favorite scrapbooking tool would have to be her sewing machine. She can not do a project without it. She is a Texan, through and through, and she bugs her husband at least once a week about moving back home where they belong. Her blog is:
http://www.amycoose.blogspot.com. Here's her layout she is sharing with us today.
She's BAAAAACCCCKKKKK! (that was especially for you Kimber) Miss Kimber McGray! Kimber is from Carmel, Indiana where she lives with her husband and two children. If I've done my math right, she has been scrapbooking for about 9 years and has been with Jillibean Soup for almost 6 years. You'll find her blogging for Jillibean Soup's The Card Kitchen and on her personal blog Whirlwind. Take a look at one of her cards!
And, then there's me, Jenifer Harkin. Same old, same old. I've been with Jill and Jillibean Soup from the beginning of time. I've been super blessed to have known my friend Jillsy since college days, where we met through our ex-boyfriends. Obviously, our friendship outlasted the boyfriends:) I live in Des Moines, Iowa with two daughters, Emily (11) and Elizabeth (7), a cat named Unicorn, a one-eyed dog named Pepper, and a husband. By day, I work as an Environmental Specialist for a consulting company and by night I work as a blogger and a driver for the children's activities (soccer, basketball, softball, gymnastics....what are we thinking?!). Other hobbies include anything DIY, sewing, and going to Goodwill. I have to tell you that I live within a mile of a Goodwill, where you can buy things by the pound. It is so awesome! There is nothing better than digging through these troughs and they play classic music like James Brown. All the customers are singing. It's so funny:) Anyway, as you may have guess, I'm a project gal. I love to upcycle things and my favorite scrapbooking item to us is Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive glue. I don't have a blog because I blog here! Something you may not know is that I didn't learn how to ride a bike until I was probably around 10 years old. Long story, traumatic for me really. But, I'm in the process of gearing up for a 71-mile bike ride, without training wheels...Jill, want to come?! Any other takers? So, I wanted so share one of my all time favorite projects with you.
