Add a little sparkle to your alphas with this simple little trick. Start out using a beanboard alpha that closely matches the color of the glitter you are working with. I chose the printed glitter beanboard alphas, but gray would have been a good choice to work with as well.
Run the alphas through a Xyron Sticker Maker so that the adhesive is on front of the letters.
Apply glitter to the sticky front of the alphas. The Jillibean Soup glitter is chunky, so I used my fingertip to tap the glitter on the face of the alpha.
I sealed my glitter alphas with crystal lacquer. The lacquer dries clear and won't change the look of the glitter. This will keep stray glitter from escaping and ending up all over your page. Crystal lacquer is very similar to Diamond Glaze. If you don't have either of these, this step can easily be skipped.
This is how the final altered alphas look on my layout.
