Who says you can't get a lot of pictures on your page and still have white space? in this layout I used 11 pictures, I just resized them to be 2"- 2.5" tall and left a white border when trimming. by overlapping the photos in non critical space it allows for a nice collage on the page.

In order to tell the story I needed a lot of room for the journaling, so I kept my design in the top third of the page and then used a ruler to sketch slightly uneven lines to add my journaling to.
Have a good one!
These are all GREAT!! I love them all, great colors, pictures, embellishments. Great way to use a lot of pictures on those two layouts, they don't look crowded. The titles are good too, especially the "trapped" one so funny. Great job ladies!!
