Hello Friends,
It's Kristine Davidson and I'll be sharing part 2 of my Monster Party Mix display. If you missed my previous post please visit part of 1 of my Monster Party Mix setting. I created 3 cards using the NEW Collection 2 Cool for School and the Monster Stamp and Die Set. I used cardstock that matched the paper collection and made cards that were decorate on the outside as well as the inside! I do have a complete list of supplies required to create these cards at the bottom of this post and please feel free to comment if you have any questions. Have Fun!
All That Awesome in One Guy
I used the large shaker card base and one of the monsters I created using the Monsters Stamp & Die Set.
I wanted to create something inside the card that could be seen when you close the card.
I did some decorating inside with the monster peeking from the left side and tons of little stamped confetti from the Balloon Party Stamp Set.
Eye Like You
I first cut out a square in the card base so I could again decorate the inside with some elements on the outside. I used my Sizzix Big Shot to cut out some stitched grass from another die and placed that grass at the bottom of the square opening. I added the sentiment on the bottom left.
When you open the card I added some distress ink for my sky and then placed my monster in another row of grass. I then added some stamped butterflies and hearts. He is too cute!
My last card is Happy Birthday.
I cut out some green mountains with my die cut machine and placed the monster behind one of the hills.
You can use grass or another piece of green pattern paper to do some decorating on the bottom of this card.
Once I added my monster, I decorated her with some red lips and a banner that says YIPPPPEEE! from the same Monster Stamp Set. I also added some blue hair … it is just a piece cut off from a dark blue monster.
See how cute these are to make!? So Fun!!
I stamped Happy Birthday on the bottom and added some green color shine.
The inside is similar with no confetti or ink splats just her standing there waiting for a Monster Hug!
This was really a lot of fun to create. If you haven’t seen the first part of my tutorial please do so to get more Birthday ideas using Monster Stamp & Die set and the 2 Cool for School paper collection.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today and please share your projects with us using #JillibeanSoup on Instagram!
