Hello Jillibean Soup Friends! It's Juliana here with you today to share a set of cards I created using a sketch I created. Using a sketch when creating a card is a great way to quickly and easily bring a card together.
For both cards, I pretty much just followed the sketch. This is a personal preference for me, but remember you don't have to follow them exactly. The idea of using a sketch is to help inspire you to create. If things end up changing during the creative process, just go with it! With these cards, the main difference is what products I used to create each card. This first card uses a mix of die cuts and papers from the Rainbow Roux collection.
Instead of a circle for the focal image, I used one of the Rainbow Roux floral die cuts and then embellished the card with a die cut sentiment and enamel dots. I also added a bit of machine stitching for a touch of texture.
As I mentioned, the main thing I changed up with these cards was the products. On my second card, I used the Spoonful of Soul collection.
On this card, the wreath die cut was perfect to use for the “circle” shaped embellishment. I also added some machine stitching on this card as well. I just love the texture it adds to the card.
