Introducing Design Team Member Jeanne Jachna!

Hi! I’m Jeanne Jachna. I’m a married, stay at home mom of two young adults, and my fur baby Miss Moriko (a 90 pound Akita). I live in Northwest Indiana near Chicago. I like to read, garden, and cook, but I have been completely captivated by paper crafting. I can’t resist a new set of stamps, bling, big bows and colorful paper. I love to layer on lots of die cuts and mix different patterned papers together. My time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express myself. I’m so excited to share my creations with you!

Here's some things about me:

I love to snack when I’m crafting! It’s so important to stay away from messy foods because everything needs to stay crisp and clean! My go to is Pocky (chocolate cream covered cookie sticks).

I could never pick a favorite color. I’m excited about sunny yellows, citrus lime orange and grapefruit, layers of navy fading to sea blue teal, and never underestimate purple.. so under used!

My favorite movie is Nightmare Before Christmas. I love the story of Jack and Sally, the memorable songs, and I’m always delighted to find some new detail that I missed seeing before.

I’m happy to craft day or night – whenever I get a chance. It’s not unusual for me to spend the evening crafting – loosing all track of time – all the way into the wee hours of the morning when the rest of the world is asleep.
