Hello fabulous Jillibean friends! First off, let me say that I am an admitted scrapaholic. From my first real layout in 1998 it has been a growing passion of mine. I also love to make cards, mix the media projects and my current fav is mini albums. Papercrafting is my preferred creative outlet, it literally keeps me sane. I am so fortunate to have my dream job, working for Jillibean Soup full time at our office headquarters. As far as my personal life God has blessed me double with two amazing children of my own, my daughter- Aspen and my son- Gabriel and two incredible stepchildren who now have begun families of their own Paige, Garth and Carmen and Logan, Regan and Landry. Thankfully, I have an exceptionally supportive husband, Scott, he is my anchor. My life is a crazy roller coaster ride of a story with one shining theme of hope weaved throughout it all. God, family and nature are my driving forces and they are my endless source of inspiration.
Here's some fun facts about me...
I have a popcorn weakness, which is problematic when trying to papercraft with buttery fingers!
I would love to visit the New England states in the fall season someday.
My favorite movie is the Great Outdoors.
Here's some of my projects....
This home décor piece is all about celebration. The cake stand was painted white first and then set aside to dry. Next the felt flowers were selected in a bright color palette. Once dry the cake stand was sanded a bit for a distressed look. Then using a ruler to center it, the cake stand was added to the wood plank as shown with a hot glue gun. Then the felt flowers were arranged and attached with a hot glue gun as well. That was all there was to it, perfect for your next tea party!

Here is a soulful card made with the brand-new Spoonful of Soul Collection. This collection is a new favorite with its gorgeous muted color palette and sensational sayings, you really need to take a closer look at this one. This card is a beautiful tribute to a friend who may have helped you along in your journey. The card is made up of several layers created to look like an envelope with machine stitched accents. The flap of the card is popped up with 3D foam squares and then the pea pods were layered on as a bouquet. Next the epoxy stickers were added in some of the flower centers. Last a dainty vintage gold bow was added for just the right finishing touch. This collection encourages the most amazing cards with all its beautiful sentiments!

This project began with a mistake, yes shocking to hear right? 😊 The acrylic stand was originally intended to be a wedding table sign but the gold paint marker that was used had a mind of its own. So instead of throwing the acrylic wood stand away it was kept with the intent of recycling it for another project. Knowing that the clear acrylic portion would need to be covered the idea of a mini sign was born. The sign goes together very easily with some bite size bits and layering, a little distressing, inked edges and some epoxy stickers. So quick and easy that there was time to decorate the backside as well! Which is how it came to be double sided, as the backside was going to have to be covered with paper anyway. All that needed to be done was to create another side with the tab matching up to the one of the front side. The end result is a super sweet double sided mini sign with two equally encouraging messages.
