Hi Jillibean Soup friends, it’s Designer Jaclyn Rench joining you on the blog today! I love the process of putting together a scrapbook page – from selecting and printing the photos, typing up journaling and pulling a perfectly coordinated pile of supplies, to experimenting with layers, stamping and trying out new techniques. Not surprisingly, it all makes me happy! But I must admit that designing a perfect title treatment for each and every design, ranks among my favorites!
To make an extra special title for this extra special memory, I decided to incorporate mini letter stickers and a pile of Pea Pod Part diecuts. This allowed me to pull bits of nearly all of the colors in my design and customize my text to perfectly match my page. I settled on a cluster of flowers framed by a semi circle of words.
I knew it was unlikely that I could eyeball a perfect half circle design for the text. So, I opted to create my own guide, by simply laying out and adhering a metal circle die to my page. I attached the die temporarily to my paper with a bit of washi tape and used diecut hearts in between each word to achieve proper spacing.
Here’s a closer look at the other coordinating clusters throughout the page.
