Hey Jillibean Soup Friends! It’s Leanne here today sharing a few tips and ideas on creating a monochromatic layout!
When creating a monochromatic layout, the first step is to select your color palette. Of course, monochromatic doesn’t mean using dull browns and blacks. I’ve chosen to play with the vibrant pinks and deep reds from various Jillibean collections. I love how mixing and matching patterned papers is so accessible with Jillibean Soup!
This color range was color matched to the photos I wanted to document. My daughter is dressed perfectly for me to play with this monochromatic theme!
To further enhance my layout and add another layer of interest, I have stamped label boxes in the same shades as the patterned papers.
By stamping several labels onto one sheet of cardstock, I was able to quickly document my journaling without too much difficulty.
The journaling is then positioned to help highlight my photos and title. Here’s a look at some detail.
