Hi! It’s Jeanne here today! I love making cards with scenes! They’re fun to arrange and feel like an escape when I’m making.
A Little Pickup Card by Jeanne Jachna
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup
Stamp: A Little Pickup
Patterned Paper: Spoonful of Soul
Wood Veneer: Butterflies
This scene was made with the A Little Pickup stamp and die set. I cut Spoonful of Soul papers in waves with scissors to make fields and a road. The little details help bring a scene to life. I cut a starburst flower from the Gentle Soul pattern paper with a circle punch to look like a sun.
For my second card we’re going from the farm to under the sea!
Sea You Soon! Card by Jeanne Jachna
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup
Stamp: Shaker Octopus
Patterned Paper: You Make MISO Happy
I made a background of hand cut waves with the You Make MISO Happy paper. The Shaker Die Octopus and other underwater friends were colored with Copic Markers and adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.
My last card was made with the cute hedgehogs from the Rainbow Roux stamp set. I stamped all of the images and fussy cut them with scissors.
The background papers are from You Make MISO happy. Remember that the details are what brings a scene to life. Adding layers to the grass using more than one paper gives a sense of depth to the rolling field.
The hot air balloon in the sky is surrounded by flowers to replace clouds and a sun. Little mushrooms dot the landscape and epoxy butterflies flitter through the air.
Nothing is Unpossible Card by Jeanne Jachna
