Hello everybody! Marcia here today. I'll admit, I am one of those people that need to be medicated and caffeinated every morning before I can function thanks to my bum thyroid. I love my coffee! So when I saw the Insert Coffee To Begin Jillibean Soup cut file in the Silhouette store, I really thought it would be fun to put it on a t-shirt.
There have been so many advances in HTV vinyl in the past few years. I could not wait to try the Siser Easyweed Stretch Vinyl and test it's stretching ability. It did not disappoint! It's soft and pliable on my t-shirt. Don't be intimidated to try HTV vinyl. Watch my video and see how easy it is. Just be sure to check the manufacturers application instructions. A different vinyl may need a higher temperature, or longer heat application. Siser even has recommendations for cutting it's vinyl on different electronic die cutting machines. And yes, you can get great results with your home iron too. The Cricut EasyPress just helps eliminate lots of the guesswork when it comes to temperature.
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup
Digital Cut Files: Insert Coffee To Begin/ Design Id #280225
Other: Silhouette Cameo, Siser Easyweed Stretch HTV, Cricut EasyPress, brown T-Shirt, parchment paper.
I can't wait to try the new Cricut infusible ink HTV vinyl too. With the new vinyls available you can get professional results at home! I absolutely love my new coffee shirt!!
Life is too short, stay caffeinated!
So fun! I'm going to share in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters FB group!
