Hi Jillibean Soup friends, it’s Designer Jaclyn Rench joining you on the blog. Have you started holiday card crafting yet? I typically send out a family photo card each year, but I love to craft up a stash of handmade Christmas cards to accompany some special gifts. I have a trio of festive cards to share with you today.
Is there anything that could make a card cuter, than a festive little critter? I just love this stamped penguin and his cute winter accessories. When he is positioned peeking out from behind a chipboard frame, he is most certainly the star of the design!
Wishing You a Cool Christmas Card by Jaclyn Rench
Supplies:
Jillibean Soup
Patterned Paper: You Make Miso Happy/Wakama; Garden Harvest/Plant the Seeds
Clear Stamp & Die Set: Penguin, Be Merry
Clear Stamp & Die Set: Monster
Other: white cardstock, stamping ink, copic markers, foam adhesive, tag, stickles.
This next card uses the same color palette as the last card, but the penguin is switched out for a deer. While not necessarily a Christmas print, the Garden Harvest ‘Gather the Goods’ patterned paper is a great backdrop to compliment the stamped design. The stamped sentiment looks great heat embossed on top of the red cardstock.
Sending Christmas Cheer Card by Jaclyn Rench

6X8 Paper Pad: All About the Dots
Clear Stamp & Die Set: Be Tacky, Be Merry
Epoxy Stickers: Rainbow Roux
Other: white cardstock, stamping ink, white embossing powder, red twine.
My final card is bit more elegant in design. I’ve stamped and fussy cut three layers of the wreath stamp to give it more bulk and presence. The wreath is accented with stamped holly berries and a shiny gold bow. Embossing the sentiment in gold pulls the entire design together!
