Have you seen all the new Valentine cut files in the Silhouette Design Store? There are so many great files to choose from and today I want to share a new layout with you using the Be My Valentine cut file!
I cut the file out on some white textured cardstock. I wanted to use pink, red and pops of yellow on my page so I pulled papers from the 6x8 Jillibean Soup paper pads and also some papers from Rainbow Roux and You Make Miso Happy. I thought this color combo would be perfect for my Valentine layout of Liam Jay. The photos are from last year and I did a mini shoot with him wearing his Valentine’s Day onesie and a few different props. He loved the big paper hearts and chocolates!
You do not always need a valentine themed collection to be able to create a valentine layout. I was able to use the valentine cut file and build my page around it. Using reds and pinks with that punch of yellow is perfect to get the valentine look I was going for. I pulled out a couple pea pod part hearts and fussy cut some red and yellow flowers for my embellishments. I also used the cute little hedgehog from the Rainbow Roux collection. I think he looks adorable on this layout! Here is a look at my finished Valentine layout!
