One of my creative go to scrapbook designs is the grid. The grid is such an easy formula to follow. Layouts can be broken in to as few and as many grids as you want. Grids keep your pages fresh, they allow for flow, and each grid is a window to house photos, embellishments, and/or words that tell your story.
When I planned out my page, I started with a basic 9 grid circle design. Rather than keeping my title bound to a grid I decided to have it spread out over the width of my grid design. Knowing I would have a decent amount of journaling I planned my journaling to span the area of the bottom left grids of my layout. Starting from the upper left corner moving left to right I used my grid to tell a story, adding numbers that correspond to my journaling. I then filled in the other grids with patterned paper and embellishments.
