Hi there, Amy Sheffer here today. Today I have a stamped Easter treat box idea to share with you. These tiny treat boxes are made from just paper, ink, and twine and hold only a handful of jellybeans or other Easter candy, making them a super economical way to share special DIY Easter treats with all your friends, neighbors, colleagues, teachers, and more.
Do you make your own treat packaging? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to share this affordable gift idea with a crafty friend!
I’ve assembled these treat boxes with just two tag diecuts and an extra strip for the box base. The extra strip is scored along both long edges to make little flaps for assembly.
Each tag is scored along the bottom and adhered to the long sides of the strip as shown.
To form the box, fold the strip up on both sides and adhere the scored flaps to the back sides of the tags.
I stamped my own patterned paper for the boxes using the wreath and flower images from Barn Door. The cross was diecut using a cross die from Prayers and pink polka dot patterned paper from the All About Dots 6x8 paper pad. To finish, I tied the tops of the tags together with pink floss and adhered a Happy Easter tag.
