Challenge #5:  Hi friends! It's Juliana here and for today's challenge we want you to stamp on a card using Jillibean Soup stamps for a chance to win a fabulously fun prize package! Feel free to mix in stamping with our other products or use them alone to create your design.

I've created two cards to share with you today using the Rainbow Roux collection and coordinating stamp set. For this first card, I used the Rainbow Roux Stamp Set to create a border above and below the cute little hedgehog die cut. I stamped each mushroom in a different color of ink and used a stamp positioning tool to help me keep them in a straight line as I stamped. I also stamped the sentiment using the same stamp set.

As you can see, I also combined some of the Rainbow Roux patterned paper and Pea Pods to further embellish the card.

For my second card, I used the Rainbow Roux Stamp Set to create my own background design. I randomly stamped some of the images from the stamp set in a rainbow of colors to coordinate with the colors in the paper collection.

Once the background was complete, I layered on some other paper and Pea Pods to complete the card. For additional interest, I also added some enamel dots!

Hey Jillibean Soup Friends! It’s Leanne here right now and I’m excited to be issuing your next challenge for International Scrapbooking Day!!

Challenge #4:  For a chance to win your very own Spoonful of Soul collection pack, I want you to create a layout combining three (3) main elements - a Jillibean Soup clear stamp title or subtitle, Jillibean Soup Peapod Parts and a Jillibean Soup Silhouette cut file!   Easy peasy right?!

Here’s a look at a layout I’ve created especially for this challenge.

The cut file I have used on this layout is called Wreath #285515. The first cut included the inside detail cut out from the design, as you can see in the photo below. Patterned paper was used for the second cut of the same file, and included the outside cut edge only. This left the patterned paper leaves on the wreath full.

The subtitle was created using the grey ink and clear stamps from Spoonful of Soul collection. The Pea Pod Parts then highlight the photo.

To give you some inspiration I am sharing a rustic white frame that I added a Jillibean Soup digital cut file to. Patio season is almost upon us! (or maybe if you live in a warmer state than me, it is already in full swing.) I wanted to make my outdoor living space more inviting. Do you decorate your outdoor living space? In the past, I've just had some flowers, succulents, and my herb garden to brighten up my patio. Well this year I've decided to step up my game! I needed an outdoor rustic white frame to hang up with a welcoming saying. Here is how it turned out.

Sometimes a project needs a little inspiration to get a kick start. Often it is just one simple image that can kick our creativity in a new direction. Designer Nicole Nowosad was inspired by this photo backdrop image to create the strips along the edge of her page design! She used several patterns of paper from the Rainbow Roux collection to frame along two edges of her design and added a ton of fussy cut flowers to the center of her page, to help center her photo. We love the bold title using the foam stickers in the Rainbow Roux collection, combined with a sticker from the Coordinating sticker sheet!

Who can resist a shaker card?  There’s something absolutely captivating about the mix of eye candy and the delight one experiences when receiving one.   

CHALLENGE #1: I’m challenging you to make a one layer shaker card  with an inky background. 

No one makes creating a shaker easier than Jillibean Soup.  They’re Shape Shaker Program offer cards and envelopes pre cut with shaker shapes, plastic inserts that fit the die cut openings perfectly as well as stamps with coordinating images.   They even have shaker fillers to please everyone on your list! 

I’m sharing three shaker cards today – each card has been colored with distress ink so all that’s left is for you to embellish.  The first features the Shaker Card Butterfly with the Butterfly Insert and filled with an assortment of Shaker Beads.

To create this rainbow back ground I used sticky tape to block off each section before inking it with distress ink.   The butterfly from the Thankful Clear Stamp set is stamped inside the opening before being topped with the shaker insert. 

The insert is easy to apply.  Just open the card front, insert the plastic insert inside the opening, fill it with the eye candy of your choice, remove the protective tape from the opening and then close the card over the insert.

My second card was made with the Shaker Card Star and Star Insert.  I created a background of clouds by creating a mask and inking it approximately every half inch on the card front. 

Sticky tape protects the card back that I want to keep clean.   Next, I stamped stars in yellow, a string for the star balloon, and a sentiment from Balloon Party.

The shaker is filled with more stars and amber beads from the Jewel Warm Mix, and I added wood veneer stars from the Shaker Fill Wood Veneer pack to the front of the card.

My third card features a distress ink galaxy sky perfect for dreaming!   I embellished it with a unicorn,  rainbows and a sentiment from the Magical Unicorn clear stamp set.

Introducing Design Team Member Amy Sheffer!

Hi all, I’m Amy Sheffer, and I’m super excited to be rejoining the Jillibean Soup team! I live in Virginia with my husband and our three children, ages 18, 15, and 12. I’ve been dabbling in various arts and crafts since I was kid. A friend introduced me to scrapbooking 20 years ago, and stamping and card making came along soon after. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed being part of the online card making community. Crafty friends are the best friends! When I’m not crafting or busy being a mom, I also enjoy volunteering, DIY home projects, taking classes online, and reading.

Here's some fun facts about me:

I got hooked on the Outlander book series many years ago and have wanted to visit Scotland ever since. (Preferably 1700s Scotland with a kilt-wearing ginger my side!)

I would go with Elton John to serenade me!

I’m a podcast addict, so that’s usually what I listen to while crafting. When I do choose music, it’s most likely classical or an indie singer-songwriter mix.

Hello Friends! My name is Leanne Allinson and I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and four children. I am a long term fan of Jillibean Soup with my kids having pretty much grown up on the scrapbook pages I've shared…All using Jillibean Soup’s amazing paper collections of course! Currently I am a teaching assistant working with Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 children. I absolutely love my role at school and find many ways to bring art and paper craft into the classroom. I am also a field hockey mum to my three boys and their three individual Sunshine Coast teams. I love being outdoors exploring and spending the weekends on the sports field. Introducing Design Team Member Jeanne Jachna!

Hi!  I’m Jeanne Jachna.  I’m a married, stay at home mom of two young adults, and my fur baby Miss Moriko (a 90 pound Akita). I live in Northwest Indiana near Chicago.   I like to read, garden, and cook, but I have been completely captivated by paper crafting.  I can’t resist a new set of stamps, bling, big bows and colorful paper.  I love to layer on lots of die cuts and mix different patterned papers together.   My time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express myself.    I’m so excited to share my creations with you!

Here's some things about me:

I love to snack when I’m crafting!  It’s so important to stay away from messy foods because everything needs to stay crisp and clean!  My go to is Pocky (chocolate cream covered cookie sticks).

I could never pick a favorite color. I’m excited about sunny yellows, citrus lime orange and grapefruit, layers of navy fading to sea blue teal, and never underestimate purple.. so under used!   

My favorite movie is Nightmare Before Christmas.  I love the story of Jack and  Sally, the memorable songs, and I’m always delighted to find some new detail that I missed seeing before.

I’m happy to craft day or night – whenever I get a chance. It’s not unusual for me to spend the evening crafting – loosing all track of time – all the way into the wee hours of the morning when the rest of the world is asleep.
