How to Use Foam Stickers for Stamps

Hello Friends! This is Maryám back with you today to share some more ideas using the awesome Jillibean Soup products.

For today’s project, I am using the awesome Foam Stickers in an unexpected kind of way- as stamps. This may sound weird but let me tell you that this actually works.

Using the foam stickers as stamps, and with the help of some crisp dye inks, I created a really fun pattern and stamped some hearts stickers on to a piece of white cardstock, which I used as part of my layout design.

The rest of the layout was simple. I just added flowers, leaves, etc. chose a placement for my journaling and the title, added some enamel dots and voilà!

My Favorite Stamping Technique

Hi there, Amy Sheffer here today with a video tutorial featuring two of my favorite techniques: emboss resist and ink blending. And actually, there’s a third favorite technique in there, too — stamping abstract backgrounds!

I started by stamping a random, overlapping circle background in watermark ink using a circle image from the Spoonful of Soul stamp set. After heat embossing the background with clear embossing powder, I then added the ink blending using Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks. For more texture, I added splatter using water, the three Distress Oxide colors, and opaque white.

My sentiment is a combination of a stamped and diecut “enjoy” and a vellum heat embossed “today.” For a finishing touch, I added some pink sequins and a diecut stitched border to the ink-blended panel.

Cricut Infusible Ink How-To

Hello everybody! Marcia here today. Ever since the Cricut Infusible Ink came out, I have been wanting to try it. Unlike heat transfer vinyl which can crack and peel over time, infusible ink is transferred to the fabric in a process called sublimation. In order for this to work, the fabric must be a polyester blend. To remove the guess work about which shirts work best, Cricut offers t-shirts in all sizes, including baby onesies for you to use. These are called T-shirt Blanks. Cricut also has tote bags and coasters that work with the infusible ink. I decided to create some comfortable pajamas using the Don't Wake the Bear cut file.

Using the B Sides of Scrapbooking Papers to Create a Layout

Wedding Decor with Jillibean Soup Mix the Media Surfaces Tutorial

Creating your own DIY Wedding Décor is easy using a Rustic White Mix the Media surface and a Jillibean Soup Silhouette cut file. Jillibean Soup has several clever wedding themed cut files that can easily be combined with one of the Jillibean Soup Mix the Media surfaces to create a unique and personalized décor piece for a wedding. Designer Nicole Nowosad created this rustic wedding décor piece on the 12x16 rustic white frame using just a simple vinyl cut sentiment, finishing it off with a simple floral bundle.

Happy Tuesday Friends! It’s Maryam and today I’m here to share with you a new layout but this time with a video tutorial included.

For this layout, I used a Jillibean Soup Cut File called Valentine Banners and backed it with lots of fun patterned papers, embellished the layout with Rainbow Roux Pea Pod Parts and some coordinating stickers.

For the background, I used a pattern paper from the You Make Miso Happy Collection that I whitewashed with white gesso just to kind of toned down the paper to make the hearts garland popped up a little bit more.

To finish my page, I added a few stars wood veneers and epoxy stickers and the layout was done!

A Back To School Jillibean Soup Project Video

Hello everybody! Marcia here today. It seems like school just got out, but the kids are going to be headed back soon. It's important to get off on the right foot with a new teacher, so when I saw the Teach Love Inspire Jillibean Soup cut file in the Silhouette store, I thought it would be perfect to make a teacher gift.

I found some coffee mugs at my local Dollar Store. I love that they didn't have anything written on the mug yet because then I can add some vinyl and really personalize it. Check out my video to see how to add vinyl to just about anything.

I added a small bag of my favorite chocolates inside the mug. After all teachers are awesome and deserve a treat now and then.

How to Use One Stamp to Create Two Unique Looks on a Card

A Spoonful of Soul Layout Tutorial Video

Hi Jillibean Soup friends, it’s Designer Jaclyn Rench joining you on the blog today!  I am still smitten with the Spoonful of Soup collection and finding myself reaching for it again and again.  Today I’m using it to create a page documenting a special memory for my daughter’s scrapbook.  I’ve used several papers from the collection and even mixed in a few from coordinating lines, to create my own dimensional heart embellishments.  As always, the Pea Pod Parts and epoxy stickers from this collection proved to be the perfect finishing touches on the page.
